Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the PhotoID mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms are in addition to the platform-specific terms (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and any other terms that may apply to your use of the respective app store.

About PhotoID

PhotoID is a mobile application designed to help users create compliant passport, visa, and ID photos for over 100 countries. The App uses AI-powered technology to check photo compliance with official requirements, including head size, background, lighting, and other specifications. PhotoID also offers optional background removal and replacement features. The App is intended to assist users in creating photos that meet official requirements, but users are responsible for verifying that their final photos meet the specific requirements of the authority they are submitting to.

Subscription Services

Premium Features

PhotoID offers a subscription service (PhotoID Pro Weekly) that provides access to download processed photos. You can preview and process photos up to the download stage before subscribing; a subscription is required to download your processed photos. Subscription fees are charged through your Apple ID account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android).

Billing and Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (iOS) or Google Play account settings (Android). Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

User Responsibilities

Use the App only for its intended purpose of creating compliant passport, visa, and ID photos
Verify that your final photos meet the specific requirements of the authority you are submitting to
Only process photos that you have the right to use (your own photos or photos you have permission to use)
Do not create fraudulent identification documents or use the App for illegal purposes
Do not process photos of others without their consent
Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Respect the intellectual property rights of the App and its content

Accuracy and Compliance Disclaimer

While PhotoID uses AI technology to check photo compliance with official requirements, we cannot guarantee that your processed photos will be accepted by all authorities. Photo requirements may vary by country, authority, and may change over time.

We are not responsible for rejection of photos by authorities
Individual results and acceptance may vary
The App is provided as a tool to assist you, but you are responsible for ensuring compliance

Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

PhotoID is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or that your processed photos will be accepted by authorities. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to rejection of photos by authorities, travel delays, or any other consequences resulting from the use of photos processed through the App.

Apple App Store

This App is licensed, not sold, to you. Your license to use the App is subject to your compliance with these Terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

You may use the App only on Apple-branded products that you own or control
You may not distribute or make the App available over a network
You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App

Google Play Store

This App is licensed, not sold, to you. Your license to use the App is subject to your compliance with these Terms and Google Play's Terms of Service.

You may use the App only on Android devices that you own or control
You may not distribute or make the App available over a network
You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App
Google is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
